See here for more information on who should have a covid booster now.
You must leave ideally 6 months between your last covid vaccine dose or infection and this booster vaccine. We are calling people based on age and clinical need, starting with patients over 80 years.
Please Wear Short Sleeves or a Loose Shirt/Blouse on the Day - Vaccine is to the Upper Arm/Shoulder.
The Adapted Covid Vaccine Booster helps your body to produce antibodies to the Sars-CoV-2 virus that causes covid-19, it also specifically targets the Omicron Variant.
It will greatly reduce your risk of severe illness or death should you contract Covid and should also reduce your risk of contracting Covid.
Vaccination takes 5 minutes, but NIAC recommend that you wait for 15 minutes after vaccination, if you have ever had an allergic reaction we may need to observe you afterwards.
